Peggy's FUR-SCULPTURED ART

I painted the background for my Big Horn Sheep using acrylic paints on a smooth panel.  I created the sheep by combing pieces of Dall sheep and caribou pelts and sculpturing them to create the shape of the sheep.  I then dyed the fur the colors I wanted to make the sheep "come to life."  The grasses are a combination of moose, elk, and deer hair.

I placed the artwork in a 17" x 20.5" beautiful wooden shadowbox frame, covered with glass for protection.
