Mt. Goat sculpted from Mt. goat hide. The horns were sculpted from caribou hide. The rock is a piece of caribou pelt.
Moose sculpted from moose hide. The antlers were sculpted from caribou hide. The grass is deer hair.

I first created this picture in 1983, one year after I invented my art. At that time, I framed my artwork, but I only put the "Dog Team" pictures under glass. In 2019, a lady from Homer, Alaska contacted me about this picture. She had inherited it from her mother and she loved it, but it was extremely dusty and the animals were a little messed up from being touched by people over the years. She asked me if I could clean it for her. I said I would be happy to do that and that I would also put it in a shadowbox frame, covered with glass, so that it would never get dusty or messed up again. I also told her that I would re-sculpture all the animals so that they look like new and would last a lifetime. I did that and now it looks as beautiful as ever!
